Learn to Skate
What is CanSkate?
CanSkate is Canada’s only national learn-to-skate program for skaters aged 3 and up. CanSkate teaches the fundamentals of skating in a progressive and sequential manner designed to give skaters the basic skating skills required for hockey, figure skating and recreational skating. The 45-minute program combines a 15-minute warm-up and two 15-minute group lessons with a professional coach. The CanSkate program coaches evaluate their skaters on a day-to-day basis, and upon completion of the program will provide a report card outlining their progress.
What is CanSkate Plus?

Classes are 60 minutes in length and skaters will receive 15 minutes of stroking and two 15 minute group lessons per session, and 15 minutes free-skate to practice what they have just learned.
